Kerala chief minister Vijayan on Monday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Sisodia s arrest in the Delhi excise policy scam case, urging him to
Sisodia was produced before special judge M K Nagpal earlier on Monday on the expiry of his seven-day custodial interrogation. The CBI told the court that it did not require the custody of the senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader for now.
Taking a potshot at the AAP, Poonawalla alleged that the party has transformed from a party which rose from the `India against corruption` movement to a party protecting and celebrating corruption.
The AAP leader was arrested on CBI for his involvement in the Delhi Excise policy case. It was alleged that the principal provided desks from the school and hung posters in the support of Manish Sisodia.
This comes after the AAP leaders protested against the arrest of party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the excise policy scam case.
