Construction of a cluster of prefabricated houses for internally displaced persons in Manipur is complete, and the water supply system is being finalized. The temporary shelter complex will house 400 families and is expected to be inaugurated within two weeks. The complex consists of 40 units, each accommodating 10 families.
State Mission Director of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission N Bandana Devi informed Governor Anusuiya Uikey that around 3,500 members of Women Self Help Groups have been affected by the Manipur conflict.
