MANILA - Parts of the country will experience some rains on Saturday, brought by the shear line at the eastern section of central and southern Luzon and by the northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan", in the northern portion and the rest of central Luzon. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Caraga region brought by the easterlies. Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains brought by the shear line, which is the convergence of northeasterly and easterly winds that form rain clouds. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail over the Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley regions, as well as the rest of central Luzon, brought by the "amihan".
