Guevarra said the meeting may be held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, or Thursday, Feb. 11.
Among those who appealed for increased church capacity for religious gatherings was Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick S. Pabillo.
Bishop Pabillo had said that there has been no increase in the corona virus 2019 (COVID-19) infections after the Black Nazerene feast in Quiapo, Manila.
In modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas, religious worship is allowed up to 50 per cent of venue capacity.
In GCQ areas, like the National Capital Region, 30 per cent is allowed.
Guevarra had admitted that the increase in church capacity “has always been an option but it has also been a contentious issue in the IATF.”

Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick S. Pabillo will celebrate a high mass at 6 p.m. today, December 10, at the Our Lady of Loreto Parish in Sampaloc, Manila, in solemn commemoration of the Feast of Our Lady of Loreto, a Marian title that refers to the Holy House of Loreto (Santa Casa di Loreto) in Loreto, Italy, where the Blessed Virgin Mary was born and where the Annunciation was believed to have taken place.

The title also refers to an ancient statue of Our Lady that was found inside the house.
The Eucharistic celebration will be streamed live. Inside the church, a little more than 100 persons will be allowed to observe physical distancing.
