Reply(1) Manhasset Secondary School student Dylan Wu has been named a semifinalist in the 2021 Irving M. Klein International String Competition, which is produced by the California Music Center. (Manhasset Public Schools ) MANHASSET, NY A Long Island student is one of nine semifinalists worldwide in the 2021 Irving M. Klein International String Competition. Manhasset Secondary School student cellist Dylan Wu, who studies at The Juilliard School Pre-College Division, was selected from 128 entrants from 16 nationalities, Manhasset School District officials said. Subscribe Wu is one of five string musicians from the United States to be chosen to compete in the semi-finals this year. He is joined by New York City resident Serin Park, Keoni Bolding of Pennsylvania, Grace Huh of California, and William Tan of Illinois, according to the competition s website.
