Unlike the rest of us, however, she has navigated through closed ports, helped short-staffed crews and overcame quite literally ‘trouble in paradise’. Here, she tells SuperYacht Times what the past year has been like for yacht agency and reveals her hopes for the future.  The year 2020 was certainly a special one for the yachting industry. Nobody foresaw a virus like Covid-19 shutting down the whole world on the scale it did. Like many other industries, when the first lockdown hit in March, we yacht support were forced to work remotely from home.

Mangusta GranSport 33 yacht Ponza sold to European owner

A European owner has purchased the 33.3-metre yacht Project Ponza currently in build at Overmarine s Viareggio facility. The third unit of the Mangusta GranSport 33 is due to be completed this summer and has been designed by Alberto Mancini and Overmarine. Photo: Mangusta Yachts“The owner had previously purchased a pre-owned Mangusta yacht and, after enjoying just one season of cruising, he decided to have a brand-new one built, customising her to his own wishes and taste”, explains Ivan Adzic, Overmarine s France Area Manager, who oversaw this sale alongside Christine Lavie from International Yacht Charter.   Photo: Overmarine GroupFeatures on board are to include a 40-square-metre main-deck master suite, a main saloon with full-height slide windows, a large flybridge boasting a massaging infinity pool located at the bow and an extendable stern platform. Inside the yacht s garage, a 5.65-metre tender will be stored alongside two full-size Jetskis.
