The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) will be conducting emergency repairs on two mains at Warleigh, St. Peter on Thursday, January
5th between 10:00 a.m. & 8:00 p.m.
As a result, the facility supplying water to customers in the following areas will be offline:
• Bakers • Rock Dundo • Upper Carlton
• Westmoreland • Crick Hill • Upper Mount Standfast • Westcliff • Lancaster
The Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue its fogging programme in St Philip this week.
On Monday, June 14, the team will spray Church Village, Blades Hill, Three Houses, Ebenezer, Brereton, Marley Vale and surrounding areas.
The districts of Diamond Valley, Crane Park South, Pounder Road, Colleton Drive, Kirtons #1, #2, & #3, Kirtons Main Road, Kirtons Garden, Cave Land, Hope Land, and environs, will be fogged on Tuesday, June 15.
Emerald Park East and North, Marchfield Village, Fitzherbert Drive, Marchfield Village Road, Harvester Close, Neil Kirk Gardens, Farm Road Terrace, and nearby communities will be sprayed on Wednesday, June 16.
The fogging team will be in the following areas on Thursday, June 17: Four Roads, Nursery #1 & #2, Kirtons, Mangrove Terrace, Mangrove Gardens, and environs.

The BWA said while crews carry out repairs to these ruptured mains, residents in the surrounding districts will experience low water pressure or outages.
Customers in some St James and St Peter may be affected by the bursts on the large sized mains in St Peter including: Baker’s Tenantry, Baywoods, Benny Hall, Black Bess, Boscobelle, Castle Tenantry, Diamond Corner, Endeavour, Farmers, Four Hills, Gays Village, Indian Ground, Mangrove Terrace, Mount Stepney, Orange Hill, Pleasant Hall, Rock Hall, Roebuck, Sedge Pond, Sion Hill, St Silas Heights, The Baltic and Water Hall Terrace.
The BWA will assist residents in the affected districts via tanker as a temporary measure.
