Abyei’s Minister of Information said that four suspected armed youth from Twic County in Warrap State were killed, and one local youth from Abyei was seriously injured during an attempted cattle raid in the village of Wunruop over the weekend.
A government official in the Abyei Administrative Area has said eleven commuters were ambushed and killed in Rumamer County on Friday allegedly by rebels loyal to General Stephen Buay Rolnyang, who leads the rebel outfit South Sudan People’s Movement/ Army (SSPM/A).
Authorities in Abyei Administrative Area on Friday said that two youths were on Thursday killed in Mabuny village in Alal County by armed youth suspected to be from Twic County of Warrap State.
Officials in South Sudan's Warrap state and the contested Abyei Administrative Area say six people were killed and 11 others wounded in separate clashes between armed youth from the two neighboring areas.
