Jan 25, 2021 3:52 PM Edgewater, FL - An Edgewater man is already facing a minimum of 20 enhanced counts of child porn possession, but more charges are pending after detectives discovered around 1,500 files during their investigation. Investigators have also learned that 30-year-old Aaron Crump has been using an online alias to communicate with young girls from around the country and request nude photos. Crump was arrested by the Volusia Sheriff s Office (VSO) Crime Suppression Team at his Mango Tree Drive home on Friday (January 23rd). The investigation into Crump began in October after VSO received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that more than 350 files of suspected child pornography had been uploaded to an online storage account. Search warrants were obtained by investigators after detectives identified Crump as the defendant. In December 2020, detectives conducted a traffic stop on Crump in Ormond Beach and questioned him about the case.
