The heat is on at the Mangaung Correctional Services after inmates furnished Eyewitness News with a memorandum that was submitted to G4S prison management as well as the Department of Correctional Services. Inmates claim unnatural deaths, lack of medical services from doctors, torture at the hands of prison officials as well as the lack of education and skills training.
The body of Katlego Bereng, was illegally obtained from a mortuary, smuggled into Bester’s cell and set alight at Mangaung Prison, as part of Bester’s elaborate escape last year.
