On day one of the two-day trade licence fair organised by the Mandya City Municipal Council, 40 applications have been submitted. The council is issuing trade licences for five years from this financial year. Mandya city aims to collect Rs 82 lakh in trade licence fees from 3,514 establishments. A special drive has been organized to reach the target. Traders are urged to renew or obtain new licences to avoid penalties.
