Antiques dealer Alice Young, speaking on behalf of stall-holders, said: The gazebos were never voted for by traders, but we were told there was a show of hands in support of them following a meeting in February 2020. Where are the minutes for this meeting? No vote on gazebos even happened. If people had been told there and then that there would be no stalls there would have been outrage, but nobody thought this would happen. We were told to use the government funds which were meant to help us with our loss of income from the first lockdown to buy gazebos which we then had to erect, dismantle, transport and store.

A St Albans employer is celebrating its 100th birthday.
The National Pharmacy Association, which employs 130 people, began life in 1921 and has since grown to become the leading voice of independent community pharmacies across the UK.
The offices, based in Mallinson House, St Peter s Street, provide business, professional and regulatory advice to pharmacies, plus specialist insurance and education and training.
A congratulatory motion has been tabled in the House of Commons and signed by St Albans MP Daisy Cooper.
NPA chief executive, Mark Lyonette, said: “St Albans has been home to our head office for more than 40 years, right in the heart of the city.

This is reportedly the first homicide in the Cherry Hill area since February 2016, according to Courier Post, when a 17-year-old lost his life outside a motel.

A Bear, Delaware man named Leopold McKoy was found with multiple bullet wounds at Sergi Farms Apartments on Abbey Road (off Marlkress Rd.) around 4:30 a.m. Sunday after Cherry Hill police responded to reports of gunfire at the complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, according to 6abc.com. An investigation into the incidents that resulted in the shooting, leaving McKoy dead, is underway.
