Congress general secretary Ashray Sharma, son of Mandi Sadar MLA Anil Sharma, resigned from the primary membership of the party today. He was also the chairperson of the social media campaign committee of the Congress.
Disgruntled BJP MLA from Mandi Sadar Anil Sharma has finally decided to stay with the BJP, along with his family, and contest the election from the Mandi Sadar seat.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today said that Mandi Sadar MLA Anil Sharma was a staunch BJP leader and would work for the development of the constituency and the district. He added that all genuine demands of the Mandi Sadar constituency would be considered sympathetically.
