Lycoming County
Sunrise with a snow surprise! 30+ inches of snow in the headwaters of Little Pine Creek near English Center, PA in Lycoming County.
Clinton County
Fishing Creek The recent snowfall will contribute to binging the water levels up in the coming days. It’s a great time to get out on the water for those looking for that wintertime fishing feeling! Look for fish to hold in some of the deeper pockets with slow moving water. Streamers can provide some great action this time of year. Most action continues to take place for those nymph fishing. Hot patterns right now include BH PT Nymphs in sizes 14-20 and Zebra Midges in sizes 18-20.
Pennsylvania Fishing Report – December 10, 2020 Though ice is beginning to form on
Lake Wallenpaupack, individuals are still catching some Striped Bass, mostly from shore in the Mangan Cove Access.
Monroe County The fishing has slowed down recently but will surely pick up in the coming weeks as ice is beginning to form on both
Tobyhanna State Park Lake and
Gouldsboro State Park lake.
Columbia & Southern Luzerne County With the firearms season for deer in full swing, most people’s attention has shifted away from fishing and boating, to deer hunting. Those who continue to fish, are finding success though. The
Susquehanna River is producing some nice smallmouth bass and walleye action. Soft plastics seem to be the key.
