The Monmouth Bee Festival was opened by the new mayor of Monmouth, Alice Fletcher, who was invited to cut the ribbon by Dr Nicola Bradbear, director of Bees for Development.
Although the annual Rotary Monmouth raft race doesn’t take place until September there is a chance for interest teams to save money on their entry fee.
