MANDAREE, N.D. A 61-year-old man died in a single vehicle rollover in McKenzie County Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m., April 22. The crash occurred about 9 miles southwest of Mandaree, N.D.
The unidentified Dickinson man was traveling westbound in a 2019 Kenworth on Bear Den Road between Mandaree and a remote site to unload water. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road and entered the ditch where the vehicle overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side.
Responding to the scene were emergency service personnel from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, McKenzie County Sherriff s Office, Mandaree Fire and Rescue, and the Three Affiliated Tribes.
