A security guard directing the flow of traffic was injured on Sunday, June 5, after he was rammed and run over by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) in Mandaluyong City. The incident happened at the intersection of Julio Vargas Avenue and St. Francis Street at around 4 p.m. in the afternoon on Sunday.
Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), lashed at actor Jake Cuenca for what he described as lack of discipline and lack of respect to the law the latter engaged policemen into a car chase after hitting a police vehicle in Mandaluyong City.

Police identified the suspect as Saddam Guialap Masukat.
The police report said Masukat was nabbed by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at 7:00 p.m. where they seized 10 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 500 grams of shabu with an estimated worth of P3 million, P300,000 worth of buy-bust money, and various boxes and plastic bags.
He is now detained at the Mandaluyong City Police Station.
