Mandaluyong City opens first molecular diagnostic laboratory

Maria said the laboratory is not just for COVID-19 testing but also for the testing and diagnostic of other illnesses. “This is not just solely for COVID po. It can be used by the Mandaluyong City Medical Center and even NCMH for mga cardiac enzymes, lipid profile. So marami po syang purpose (So it has a lot of). This is a very useful laboratory.” Sta. (ALI VICOY / MANILA BULLETIN) DILG officer-in-charge (OIC) Bernardo Florece Jr. said the efficient roll-out of COVID-19 vaccination has increased the demand for the doses among the medical frontliners.   “This is a good development. A few days since the vaccination program began, we have seen the significant increase in vaccine confidence among health care workers with some hospitals even running out of stocks,” Florece said.
