(RUTHERFORD COUNTY - COFFEE COUNTY) The Tennessee Highway Patrol is working two separate fatal accidents those both occurred Thursday night on highway 41 (Manchester Pike), one was in Rutherford County and the other in neighboring Coffee County.
The first was in Rutherford County on the Manchester Pike (hwy 41) at Gum Road in the Buchanan Community. A car attempted to pass a vehicle and was using a passing zone along the two-lane state highway. 23-year old Carlos Hernandez was killed .
