With them also handling the films, we’ve had a good run with the property through them. Now, more is going to be in our future as it’s been revealed in Japan that the second TV season that was talked about previously is being slotted for a 2022 debut as  Made in Abyss: The Sun Blazes Upon the Golden City. It’s expected that the main staff and cast will be returning for it with full confirmations to come.
