London ESF Priority 2 Call 2021-2023 (OC23S21P1832)

Details Through this call, the GLA and London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP) are seeking projects that can help tackle London’s employment and skills challenges and support London’s recovery from COVID-19. Projects should deliver good quality skills provision at all levels to support Londoners to progress into and in work. Provision should be flexible and support must be tailored to meet the individual needs of participants. Where projects are working with participants who have more complex needs, longer term and more intensive support should be offered. Applicants must clearly set out how their proposed project both complements and avoids duplicating existing and planned ESF provision, as well as mainstream provision, such as the Mayor’s Adult Education Budget (AEB).

Details The spread of COVID-19 and the actions to contain it have already had a significant impact on London’s economy. While the scale of that impact is yet to be fully understood, early indicators suggest that the London labour market has been particularly affected compared to the UK as a whole. Through this call, the GLA and London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP) are seeking projects that can help tackle London’s employment and skills challenges and support London’s recovery from COVID-19. Projects should support individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged groups, into work or education and training by providing flexible support tailored to meet the individual needs of participants.
