During the first in-person meeting since June 20, consulting firm 1898 & Co. presented the findings from its electric rate study to the Frankfort Plant Board.
After eight months of meeting via Zoom, the Frankfort Plant Board FPB met at a special in-person meeting on Wednesday and approved a Southeastern Power Administration (SEPA) agreement.
McDonald and Baldwin initially presented their proposal on March 1.
Under the plan, the city, county and schools would purchase all of their electricity from the new solar farm instead of FPB.
The meeting will air Tuesday at 5 p.m. on FPB Cable 10 and on FPB s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/fewpb .
