（獨媒報導）政府去年4月成立「劏房租務管制研究工作小組」，並於在今年3月31日提交報告，雖然建議立法管制租金，但不設「起始租金」。關注基層住屋聯席和香港天主教正義和平委員會組成的租管陣線，於港九新界舉辦一連三場的民間諮詢會，第二場諮詢會昨午（5月23日）在灣仔舉行，約100名劏房租戶出席，租戶一致反對當局不訂立「起始租金」，更有人斥變相令他們成為「砧板上嘅魚隨時任人劏」。
