陳其邁指出，高屏活動往來密切，除了先前公布的「枋山專案」防疫措施，為了防堵病毒擴散，必須再新增2項加強規定，只要與確診個案接觸者有相關接觸的人，都應通報1922安排採檢，並落實自主健康管理，此外，6月6日以後，曾經有屏東枋山鄉活動史、接觸史的民眾一律都得快篩。
由於Delta印度變種病毒入侵屏東，高雄市26日推出「枋山專案」加強防疫作為，針對6月6日以後曾有枋山鄉旅遊史或接觸史、農業貨車司機等民眾採檢，應採198人，實際採驗188人，目前PCR結果61人呈現陰性，另外127人仍在等待採檢結果出爐。
陳其邁認為，屏東縣長潘孟安的防疫策略相當成功、有效率，不管是採取強化版的措施，或是在疫調部分，都跟中央流行疫情指揮中心與高雄市政府分享，大家都全力要讓疫情獲得最好的控制。
