A Japanese woman was arrested on Wednesday, April 28, for allegedly killing her millionaire husband.
Saki Sudo, 25, was charged for the alleged poisoning of 77-year-old Kosuke Nozaki in 2018, three months into their marriage, according to the Japan Times.
Sudo allegedly injected the real estate titan with poison, according to the article. She reportedly had dinner with Nozaki before his death, and police said she researched the deadly poison found in his system on the internet.
Nozaki had become notorious for publishing the 2016 book, “Don Juan of Kishu: The Man Who Gave ¥3 Billion to 4,000 Beautiful Women”.
His suspicious death had attracted attention for years.

woman’s arrest on Wednesday the young bride having researching the deadly lethal stimulant found in his system on the internet.
Nozaki was found dead at his home in Tanabe in Wakayama Prefecture on the evening of May 24 in 2018, with traces of the stimulant drug found in his system but no needle mark on his body, prompting police to investigate the case as a possible murder by poisoning.
Nozaki was initially assumed to have died in May 2018 of natural causes, but a subsequent autopsy detected narcotics in his body. Police declined to disclose whether Sudo had admitted to the allegations.
He was notorious for publishing an autobiography titled
Don Juan of Kishu: The Man Who Gave 3 Billion Yen to 4000 Beautiful Women in 2016. Three billion yen is £19.7m.
Nozaki was found dead at his home in Wakayama Prefecture, Tokyo, and found traces of an illegal stimulant drug in his body but no needle marks, leading them to believe it was a case of poisoning.
Police have also said Ms Sudo was alone with Nozaki before his death and had also ruled out suicide.
Soon after his death, the Nozaki murder case gained widespread attention.
The local government had earlier said Nozaki had mentioned in his will that he would donate all of his property, worth around 1.3 billion yen (£8.6m), to the city.
Young wife arrested for killing Japanese Don Juan
A 25-year-old woman married to a wealthy man who described himself as the Don Juan of his locality in western Japan was arrested Wednesday for allegedly killing him three years ago, police said.
Saki Sudo is suspected of causing Kosuke Nozaki, 77, president of a liquor sales company and real estate business, to ingest a lethal amount of an illegal stimulant drug in May 2018 only three months into their marriage, with the deliberate intent to kill him, the police said.
The police arrested Sudo at her home in Tokyo s Shinagawa Ward and transferred her to Wakayama Prefecture where the incident took place. The police declined to disclose whether Sudo has admitted to the allegations.
