The Isle of Man Photographic Society this week held the judging of the second open competition of the season, covering both prints and digitally projected images.
The event, sponsored by Aerotech International, a leading consultancy to the world-wide aircraft industry based here in the Isle of Man, was judged by Doug Allan from the Western Photographic Society.
Doug is a regular judge for us with a proven track record of providing both an excellent commentary full of helpful advice and a consistent marking process matching his comments.

The meeting of the Isle of Man Photographic Society this week was a showing of the much delayed Three Way Digital Battle between the Oldham Photographic Society, Rochdale and District Camera Club and ourselves, an event held earlier this year.
It is an event which has been held annually for the last 10 years or so, and one always greatly anticipated - one of the Oldham society members is an expert videographer and records the evening, then sends it to us to show at a later date in our programme.
