Many people in this country have been fed a single story, and not only has that single story omitted many of us, been responsible for dangerous stereotypes and so divisiveness in the populous, it fed us an extremely white-washed and heavily edited version of history, said N Diaye, keynote speaker at the College of Wooster s virtual Martin Luther King Jr. Day program. N Diaye – a Mauritanian-American comedian, filmmaker, writer, activist and former seventh-grade science teacher – offered his insight on the fight for social justice and welcoming fresh perspectives that differ from what has been outlined in textbooks and mainstream media.
