Democrats condemned Virginia’s choice to follow other Republican-led states to leave a bipartisan effort aimed at combating voter fraud, with one calling it proof that Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s administration “wants to take us back to the days of Jim Crow.”
While his rights have been restored, he says that any policy making it more difficult for those who are formerly incarcerated presents a major obstacle.
