Lyn Goswell atop the Worcestershire Beacon after one of her many ascents this year COLWALL woman Lyn Goswell is climbing towards her 84th birthday to raise money for local charity Malvern Welcomes and to recruit new members. Lyn is aiming to ascend the Worcestershire Beacon twice a week until her birthday. She started her challenge in early February and will finish in June with both the celebration of her birthday and her achievement of climbing the Beacon 34 times. She is also hoping to get fitter and to lose some ‘lockdown weight’. Lyn said: “I still have to stop a few times going up, but I am definitely getting fitter and find myself jogging a bit on the way down!”
