Noida: Gymming and sports activities can be now resumed in residential blocks and apartment complexes of Noida and Greater Noida.
While multiplexes and sports stadia as well as private gymnasiums were allowed to commence operations from Monday by the Uttar Pradesh government, residents of apartment complexes had been seeking clarity from the district authorities about their status.
District magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar, Suhas LY said that clubhouses and common areas can remain open within apartments and residential blocks for five days a week.
“Gymming and sports activities situated within the clubhouse can be resumed while adhering to the Covid-19 protocols. However, swimming pools will remain shut and other recreational activities will not be allowed for now. On Saturdays and Sundays, no operations should be allowed at the clubhouse due to the weekend curfew,” he said.
