India Murphy wanted on warrant

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate India Murphy. A warrant has been issued for the 22-year-old in relation to breaching a community corrections order. Murphy is described as Caucasian, 171cm tall with black hair and blue eyes. She is known to frequent the Malmsbury, Victoria and Bendigo areas. Investigators have released an image of Murphy in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts. Doreen robbery

Date Time Doreen robbery Mill Park Serious Crime Taskforce detectives are investigating an assault and robbery which occurred in Doreen on 1 January. Investigators have been told a 23-year-old Doreen man had been watching fireworks in the vicinity of Courthouse Walk between 12-12.30am. Three men approached the victim and asked him for a cigarette. The victim declined and the men started to push and shove the victim. The situation escalated and the victim was punched a number of times by the group before being forced to hand over a pouch of tobacco. Police have been told the offenders left the scene and were last seen on Malmsbury Lane.
