In Sherman, Carol Havens, the longest-serving town clerk in Connecticut’s history, is being honored for her 49 years of dedicated service. The town will dedicate the road in front of Mallory Town Hall as “Carol Havens Way” in recognition of her immense contributions. A ceremony being held today will also include a state award honoring Havens’ distinguished career.
