In a recent development, the Malleswaram police managed to crack a cycle theft case that had rattled the community. The incident involved the brazen theft of cycles right in front of a house. The incident occurred on July 29, when seven cycles collectively valued at Rs 65,000 were stolen from the premises. Swift action was taken by the police following the complaint, which included scrutinising CCTV footage. This diligent effort led to the arrest of a suspect, and the stolen bicycles were successfully recovered recently.
