Led by Lana Johansen and Vanya Paopao, the Solano College women’s volleyball team won two matches on Wednesday at its own tournament the Solano Classic. Solano first defeated DeAnza in a sweep before later defeating Shasta in three games. The Falcons are now 8-4 on the season. The Falcons beat DeAnza College 25-18, 25-22, 25-10. Johansen and Paopao each led with nine kills, while Paopao added 12 assists. Lexi Vasquez led with three aces serving 12-12, while adding 12 digs.
