The DAP said in a statement today said the MOF had invited DAP secretary-general and Bagan member of Parliament (MP) Lim Guan Eng, Damansara MP Tony Pua and Batu Gajah MP V Sivakumar to the meeting with Tengku Zafrul.

Published: 09 June 2021 Over the course of GKP 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, a total of RM5.08bn has been channelled to approximately 1mn micro-SMEs. In Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance (MOF) (9 June) latest update, some 1mn micro-SMEs (PKS Mikro Disalurkan) have passed application processes for special caring grants (Geran Khas Prihatin, or GKP) 3.0. This means that, under GKP 3.0, approved micro-SMEs will receive a total of RM1,500 in payouts. Starting from 10 June 2021 (Thursday), approved micro-SMEs will first receive RM1,000. An additional payment of RM500 will then be distributed in July 2021. This takes the total amount of payouts under GKP 3.0 up to RM1.5bn. Previously, on 17 March 2021, under PEMERKASA, the Malaysian government announced that it will provide GKP 3.0 of RM1,000 to more than 1mn micro-SMEs to ensure the viability of their business, especially in managing cash flow.
