KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a courtesy call from Australian Foreign Minister Senator Penny Wong in Putrajaya on Monday (Feb 27).
PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia and Australia have agreed to undertake a set of measures to address the Covid-19 pandemic, including possible cooperation in vaccination.
This was reached following the launch of the Malaysia-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) during the inaugural Malaysia-Australia Annual Leaders’ Meeting held via video conferencing on Wednesday (Jan 27).
It was jointly launched by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin
(pic) and Australian Prime Minister Scott John Morrison.
“The launch of the Malaysia-Australia CSP is timely as both countries continue to address the evolving regional and global complexities, including those posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The CSP will enable the two partners to navigate a new landscape and stay ahead of the curve, ” said the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in a statement.
