June 28, 2021 THOSE with transactions at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 can now avail themselves of the high-speed internet at its Malasakit Service Center on N. Bacalso Ave. in Cebu City for free.
This, after the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) completed the installation of the free high-speed internet in the LTO 7 office.
In September 2020, LTO 7 Regional Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec and DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan signed the memorandum of agreement between the two agencies to provide better services to the public.
DICT, which is implementing the Government Network (GovNet), aims to help address the basic needs of the government for transparency, efficiency and effective governance through ICT.
