Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia, on Thursday, reported record number of new COVID-19 cases, with 9,321 new infections, thereby bringing the tally to 797,723 cases, according to data of the Task Force for COVID-19 Response. The country also recorded 6,924 additional recoveries, thereby bringing the total recovery count to 659,437. With 224 others dying, the death toll reached 23,520. Currently, Indonesia has 114,766 active cases or patients undergoing independent care and isolation after being confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. Moreover, 68,753 people are categorized as suspects.
