completely embrace a creepy, maladjusted old man who terrorizes women. the point is, the only thing i can figure out about this whole thing as the dynamics play out, for so long they have been this party that almost embraces these sex perversion stories. i mean, that s become their brand. you almost wonder, you know, it s the john ensign, the david vitter, mark foley. for every elliot spitzer and anthony weiner story, there have been a dozen stories like mark foley and larry craig. at some point you become numb and dumb to the idea you are now the branded party of the widely, the wildly over-sexed odd balls. that s what happened. that s the most troubling thing about the story, the republicans continue to embrace this man as if he hasn t done anything wrong. he caused these two women to lose their job. they hod to stop what they were doing in their career just to protect this nut.
