Cape’s Drew Zimmerman had a 21-point night to lead the Vikings to a 67-61 win over the Riders Dec. 20 at the Cape Big House. Four Vikings scored in double digits on the night, with Jaden Dukes tallying 11 points, while Odin Potemski and Trey Leggins.

Senior guard Brycen Williams scored 21 points and netted four three-pointers to pace Caesar Rodney to an 82-62 drubbing of Cape Henlopen in boys’ basketball action Feb. 12 in Camden.
Sophomore guard Malachi Brinkley added 16 points and knocked down four shots from beyond the arc for the Riders, who raced to a 15-0 first-quarter lead that they would never relinquish.
Cape came out colder than the icy weather outside, missing its first nine shots from the floor and committing five turnovers before it finally converted a field goal six minutes into the opening period. CR senior big man Jaelin Joyner dunked three times in the frame, helping his team grab a 24-7 advantage after one quarter.

DOVER, Del.- Behind 23 points from sophomore Jaheim Harrell, the Dover Senators defeated Caesar Rodney 51-46 to improve to 6-2 on the season. The loss drops CR to 5-3 for their third loss in they past four games.
It was a rematch of the week one battle between CR and Dover, a game in which CR defeated the Senators by 12. This time was a close game throughout, the largest lead held by both teams was five, CR in the first and Dover in the fourth. Dover led by two to end the first quarter and then by one at the half.
