As the semester winds down and we look ahead to the summer, many Middlebury students will stay in Middlebury to do research, pursue internships, work on campus or maybe just bask in the sweet Vermont sun. Pooling together our collective summer experiences in Vermont and some online research, here is a round-up of events in Addison County (and beyond) to look forward to this upcoming summer.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival and the Flynn has announced a stellar lineup of events happening all over the city from June 7-11.
Throughout the month of October, several cities across the West Bank, Gaza and Israel have been hosting the Qalandiya International Palestinian contemporary arts festival.
Snowlights 2023 The snowy grounds of Greensboro’s Highland Center for the Arts glow in every color of the rainbow at Snowlights, a whimsical, artful shindig that injects some warmth and light into a deep winter weekend. Attendees dance all evening to the groovy Latin strains of Mal Maïz, ooh and aah at the fire jugglers, and watch snow sculptors do their thing in real time. And when those fingers and toes start feeling frozen, guests head into the café for hot drinks, nourishing nosh and scrumptious sweets by the fire.
