The modern, fully equipped police hub, which is freely accessible to citizens is designed for holding public discussions, events and training sessions.
Day centre for social and psychological assistance to survivors of violence opens in Kreminna, eastern Ukraine [EN/UK]

Kreminna, Luhansk Oblast, 11 March 2021– The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), together with national partners, has opened a day centre for social and psychological assistance to survivors of violence in Kreminna, Luhansk Oblast, to protect people who have experienced domestic and gender-based violence, and whose life or health are under threat.
The centre was opened, overhauled and equipped with all of the necessary technical equipment and furniture at a total cost of U.S. $80,580 (UAH 2,256,240) under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme, with financial support from Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland.

Mariupol, 24 February, 2021 – The European Union, together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, has provided a large consignment of decontamination equipment to the rescue units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
Rescue units will be able to use the new equipment – specially equipped showers – to carry out decontamination activities for their employees involved in operations during the pandemic. The equipment is also useful for operational disinfection to protect rescuers from the effects of accidental releases of chemicals or biological substances.
