The Arkansas gymnastics team yet again showed what it’s capable of as the Hogs posted a team score of 197+ for the third consecutive week in Saturday’s Metroplex Challenge from Fort Worth.
The No. 18 Gymbacks head west for their 10th and final regular season meet this year, a quad competition with No. 14 Denver, No. 38 Nebraska and No. 12 Oregon State on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Denver.
In the second meet of the weekend, the Arkansas gymnastics team bounced back from a tough loss at Alabama on Friday to tie its third-highest season score and place third among SEC rivals Alabama, Auburn and Georgia on Sunday at Elevate the Stage.
While the Gymbacks didn’t come away with a victory on Friday, the team sent off its seniors with some more event titles and its biggest crowd at Barnhill this season to cap off their Arkansas careers at home.
The No. 16 Gymbacks competed in their second road meet of the season on Saturday and also set a new road high with a final score of 196.800 against No. 11 Missouri and No. 5 LSU.
