BLACKPINK Rosé s solo debut single On The Ground has attained a major milestone on the worldwide iTunes chart, ranking on the list for the longest time among the K-pop songs released in 2021, so far.
On March 12, Rosé became the second BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut. She released her first single album titled R, featuring the title track On The Ground. The song has since been ranking on the worldwide iTunes Top Songs chart.

On May 5 (local time), BLACKPINK member Rosé ranked No. 98 on the worldwide iTunes Top Songs chart with On The Ground. It is the only song by a K-pop female solo artist within the top 100 of the chart, as well as one of the two songs by a Korean female act, the other one being ITZY at No. 50 with Mafia in the Morning.
