PARKERS CHAPEL – Parkers Chapel opened conference play Tuesday with a hard-fought 52-42 win over Gurdon. Bella Frisby scored 18 points and Krista Rivers grabbed 15 rebounds as the Lady Trojans improved to 5-3 overall on the season.
LITTLE ROCK - Parkers Chapel advanced to the semifinals of the Heavenly Hoopfest Tournament Tuesday after a 59-37 victory over Class 5A Mount St. Mary’s. The Lady Trojans improved to 3-0 on the season while the Belles fell to 1-2.
PARKERS CHAPEL Parkers Chapel opened the girls’ basketball season Tuesday with a 71-34 win over Foreman. The Lady Trojans will travel to Claiborne Academy on Friday.
Parkers Chapel will go after its fourth consecutive 2A Girls State Tennis Championship on Monday at Allen Park in Jonesboro. The Lady Trojans have enjoyed team success on the strength of their doubles.
Bella Frisby shot 75 on Tuesday to lead Parkers Chapel’s girls to the 2A 6 District Golf championship at the Lions Club. The Lady Trojans shot 270 to beat Horatio (283) by 13 shots. Frisby won medalist honors by 13 strokes over Horatio’s Cadee Glasgow.
