Chris Judd was kneeling in front of his grandfather’s grave Monday when a couple walked up beside him.
As tears fell from Judd’s eyes, a man he did not know hugged him a reminder that he was not alone in his grief.
Judd’s grandfather Arlie Judd Jr. served in the Air Force starting in 1953 and retired as a chief master sergeant in 1983. He died in 2019.
