THE Miriam Makeba Foundation will be celebrating Dr Miriam Makheba’s 89th birthday on Thursday, 4 March.
The music legend, who died in 2008, would’ve turned 89 this year.
The foundation’s executive co-ordinator, Mandla Baloyi, said there won’t be a celebration because of lockdown. They will be commemorating her life and contributions to the nation in different ways such as through social media.
