ST. GEORGE A group of St. George tech companies has raised more than $60,000 to help grant wishes for local children battling illnesses.
The news was announced on Friday when the group of companies Zonos, Vasion, Busybusy, Easy Storage, and Dixie Tech surprised its employees with the news they had exceeded their goal.
The group of businesses teamed up this month to launch Tech for Wishes, a campaign aimed at raising money for local children who are sick.
The funds will go directly to Make-A-Wish Utah, which will use them to help grant wishes of local Wish-kids in Washington County and it s already begun.
