The Rotary Club of Ashland is bringing back its “50-50 Super Raffle” for a second year to help fund the July 4 Ashland Rotary Fireworks, according to a news release from Rotary.
Tickets are $100 each with a maximum of 150 tickets sold and the winning ticket worth up to $7,500 if all the tickets are sold. The winner’s drawing will be broadcast live on the Rotary Club’s Facebook page and WRDL-88.9 during the pre-fireworks show on the evening of July 4th. Last year’s winning payout was $6,000.
“While the COVID pandemic has presented many challenges and changes in our lives, there is a new sense of optimism and hope that the worst is behind us,” says Fireworks Committee chair Mitch Piskur in the release. “We hope that this year’s July 4 festivities will not only remember our nation’s heritage but will celebrate our community’s victory over COVID.”
