Reporter lucy, we are standing at the intersection of 15th and washington. Police told us tonight that this was an absolutely heartbreaking scene. When they arrived they saw an eight year old boy down on the ground trying to take care of his fine year old mother who was hit by the septa bus. She ultimately died on the scene. According to police, the mom was holding her sons hasnt as they were crossing the street. A 32 year old man with special needs was also with them. Police tell us all three were quote trying to beat the bus and cross over washington they were unsuccessful. Police say investigators tell us the woman w
